Palace: The Locked Heart Jade 宮鎖心玉 is a juicy historical fiction set circa Emperor Kangxi (1654-1722 AD), the fourth emperor of Qing Dynasty. Ah! Palace intrigues, concubines, princes, flog-deserving palace girls, eunuchs…so much fun! Palace won the top four new forces award at the grand ceremony of movie & TV new forces (Wikipedia). I have included the video below with English subtitles. The costumes are eye dazzling!
