King Winter in his frozen crystalline palace.
Disliking deadlines, I finished this king winter in spring (June 2012). It was fun to make him!
Here is how I made the needle felted hand hold a staff. First, wrap a pipe cleaner around a stick.
Next, I needle felted some roving over the pipe cleaner and stick to make it look like he is holding the staff. Finally, I wrapped aluminum insulation tape from Home Depot over the stick (I think it’s local sycamore twig) to make a frosty staff.
