Our new friend Joan from South Africa (left) and her daughter-in-law April made their first needle-felted pumpkins this morning.
Corinna and her beautiful velvety-looking pumpkin! I love how she started with dark brown fibers on the bottom and layered variegated orange fibers on the top, creating this rich and luscious pumpkin color!
Kate and her pumpkin from this morning.
Denise’s pumpkin and peek-a-boo mouse!
Sharmin brought her sweet new baby to join in the felting fun.
Mitz and her work from this morning. She made two mice!
Merry joined us for the first time today. Here she was with her felt pumpkin at the end of the morning.
Merry e-mailed me the following photo of her completed set: Pumpkin, mouse and cheese! So cute!
I started by making a head and finished crafting this little boy doll this morning.
I finished my little boy with kite and donated it to Miss Arieta’s kindy classroom fall nature table. I made a few more on Castle of Costa Mesa Etsy shop, in case you want one.
What are these tumultuous whorls?
Wool fiber supplied by Christine. Ah! I love working with natural fibers!
Thank you Christine and everyone for a wonderful and fun morning! ~ Jzin
